Hey everyone!
Its been a long time, but it seems mlps are something I can't stay away from! I only look at G1, guess its a nastalgia thing. A few years ago I started selling my childhood collection to help fund my wedding. I had some great ponies, some of which you guys have now. I still have quite a few, just not the htf ones.
I've found a few neat things over the summer that I just couldn't walk away from. My husband is a bit concerned that I'm going to start collecting again. He didn't mind when my collection didn't need to take up so much space.
I found some ponies at a flea market and garage sales, but can't remember the names off the top of my head, and they are already packed away. Earlier this month I was at Half Price Bookstores in Cedar Rapids and found a neat little vintage storybook, "My Little Pony and the Mystery Chase" its about the ponies tricking Posey into a treasure hunt so they could set up a surprise birthday party for her at the Dream Castle. I had never seen this before, and didn't remember there being mlp books when I was little.
Today I was at the Goodwill store and couldn't believe my eyes, something else I'd never seen before, but had to buy. Its called "Puffy Stick 'n Lift My Little Pony" It's from '85 and the box has been taped up a bit, but it still has almost all of it's 40 pieces! Its kinda like those colorform magnetic things kids have today, but these are puffy and not magnetic. You know how the puffy stickers peeled apart and exposed the foam, this didn't happen with these pieces. I will have to get a pic of it this week. Does anyone remember this or have this?
