Are you a My Little Pony Collector?
Hi Everyone, I keep reading all this stuff about overseas My Little Pony conventions and meets and it all sounds like so much fun . I know some of us have toyed with the idea a little in the past but now I am seriously considering organising something for 2008 (maybe 2009 we'll see how much interest) So if anyone’s interested please have a think about the following things and let me know your thoughts.
1. Where would you like it held? name 3 capital cities in list of preference 2. What things would you like or expect to be there on the day? 3. Would you be interested in displaying all or part of your collection? 4. Would you like to have a stall to sell ponies or other pony stuff? 5. Would you expect / like food and drinks to be available? If yes would you be happy to pay for them? 6. Should there be an entry fee? If yes what sort of amount is reasonable? 7. What time of the year should it be held? 8. .Would you be interested in buying ponies on the day?
I can't think of anything else but feel free to add anything you want can't wait to hear from you all. Also if you want to be kept in the loop about this just send me a quick message my e-mail is miss_skaife @ hotmail.com Hugs Skaifey

I was actually thinking about an Australian convention the day before this was posted. Psychic pony connection or what?! 1. Where would you like it held? name 3 capital cities in list of preference1. Canberra. (purely because that's where I'm located and I couldn't not go if it were here) 2. Melbourne (Cuts down the chances of me going but I'd rather Melbourne than Sydney and Melbourne seems to have more pony fanatics). 2. What things would you like or expect to be there on the day? Competitions, stalls, maybe an auction (perhaps blind or silent), pony-related games like trivia or something. 3. Would you be interested in displaying all or part of your collection? For sure, but I'm not sure how impressive it is compared to everyone elses size wise (72 ponies) but I do have some cool pony merchandise. 4. Would you like to have a stall to sell ponies or other pony stuff?Perhaps, I'd certainly buy from others if they had something I wanted. 5. Would you expect / like food and drinks to be available? If yes would you be happy to pay for them?I wouldn't care but I'd pay for them. 6. Should there be an entry fee? If yes what sort of amount is reasonable? If there was a fee, I'd want something out of it. A small showbag, a lucky dip, a chance to win a prize, something like that. Cost would depend on where it were and how much I'd be paying to get there and stay somewhere but I'd be willing to pay more if I knew I was going to get something for sure. 7. What time of the year should it be held?Spring or summer school holidays would probably allow for the best turn-out so people can plan to travel around the convention. Spring would mean we could have a spring celebration ala My Little Pony Movie! 8. .Would you be interested in buying ponies on the day?Yes!
