Hi all, I just joined this site today and I am really impressed with it...lots of good stuff. Yay! Hey, has anyone had trouble with getting defective ponies? I had to send 5 to Hasbro because they had flaws that weren't visible until out of the box... athaliah

Hi there, Finally registered today even though I visit this site often.
Just anxious to see the new ponies to hit stores.
By the way, for those who arent aware or who can find the Target Easter Ponies, they are on clearance, I picked up some about 2 weeks ago.
Havent seen them in the stores since.
Also hit up Big Lots, and found several 2003 ponies for $3.99 a piece.

athaliah~~ Unfortunately it is quite common to get defective ponies... Hasbro quality control isn't the greatest. ...if they even have it...

Yeah, lack of quality control reeeaaalllly sucks! I sent Hasbro a Disney Princess pony that had a completely scratched symbol. They sent me a DaisyJo as compensation. Kimono in costume cost me $12 and they sent me a $4.99 common. Oh well....it was nice of a huge gazillion dollar corporation to send me anything at all- they could have just ignored my grumpy emails...

hmmm, that wasn't a very fair compensation. i'd have kept the Kimono princess just for the heck of it. it's kind of a hassle to get a hold of them, unless you live near Disneyworld of course!

thanks, that's sweet... I don't live near disneyland...the princess pony thing was a disappointment, but it's all good. I went on an all day pony run yesterday in Ventura and found nothing. -sigh- I wish Hasbro would make clothing in larger sizes. My daughter is outgrowing her stuff....I'd rather she dressed in pony clothes than in some of the hootchie outfits people put their kids in these days...

I agree about wishing that they made the clothes in larger sizes. Both my girls (7 & 9) wish they did too! But do try JC Penney stores for larger size pajamas. They're reduced now to $14.99 from $19.99.
I also noted that WalMart in San Jose, CA is now selling MLPs for $3.97, instead of $4.88 like they used to. Not clearance price, just their new reduced price.

tallpkb, i'm liking the new reduced price at walmart, too bad i've already bought all that i needed, so the nice price isn't doing much for me
