Yippie! ;D I have pony friends! *wiggles in seat* Ok, sorry, got a little excited... I've just never had so many people to talk to about ponies! I thought the Spring Basket was supposed to be a Target thing? Oh well, at least we have another option is Target doesn't come through. I really don't want to drive all the way to McAllen.... Hey, Deena -- With your being so close to the border, did you ever get to see any of the ponies made in Mexico?

LOL! You are silly Kat! I talk to about 5 people, regularly, about ponies. I have about 2 friends that e-mail me... we write LONG e-mails. If you wish to join in, I could never have enough friends! Just e-mail me sometime! Veeny@sailormoon.com I also am available to chat between 3:00 to 6:00 in the Ponyville Chatroom. Those are the only hourse I can be in there... as I can't use the chat at my house comp... I have to sneak on at the store. I am not in there the whole time... I come on the chat somewhere between those times. I usually in there from 5:00 to 6:00 talking with Aloha Pearl or someone else. ;D The Spring Basket isn't a Target exclusive... it has just been spotted there first. I even saw the basket at Mervyn's today. Really high... but they has TONS of them. ;D I don't goto Mexico. My relatives don't like to go there... as you can get sick with the food & they steal your cars & stuff. Plus some Mexicans can be REAL mean. They will throw you in jail for practically no reason & it is VERY hard for you to get out. It may sound silly... but I have lived 30 minutes from Mexico, my whole 22 years on Earth & I have NEVER been there. When I was little, I never even knew that Mexico had ponies... wish I would have. Plus... lots of the cities, I hear, near the border... don't have good stores. You have to drive like a couple of hours to some better cities, before you can find the nice stores. If you are ever headed down this way... make a stop in Harlingen. My parents own a gift shop & we could meet there! I work there 24/7 practically! Atleast it feels like it sometimes!

Hi! I'm too paranoid to give out my real name on a message board, LOL... But I will tell some about myself! I'm 25 and have a computer science degree from TAMUCC. But I decided I would rather be a teacher than a programmer, so I'm working part-time at a small private school, trying to get experience. I love kids! I have social anxiety disorder so I don't get out and meet new people much. On the one hand, I think I would enjoy a pony meet, but on the other hand, I might have a panic attack and want to leave right away. It's kind of scary thinking about it. I wouldn't want you guys to think that I was rude or snobby or weird! I've had to put a pause on my collecting because I am getting married in a few months, and all my time and money are going toward fixing up this house in Annaville that we are going to move into! I really really want Toodleloo though, so I will figure her into my budget. *drools over the gorgeous Easter pony* Sorry for blathering on about myself! It's nice to talk to you!

Hey! No pressure to give your real name! I think it's great just to have people to actually write to! I know what you mean about a pony meet though, I would love to meet you guys, I just don't want anybody to think that I'm the weird one! I thought it might be cool if we could meet at a theatre to see the My Little Pony movie that is SUPPOSEDLY on its way.....we'll see if that one actually happens. Not really to DO anything but just to say "Hi, I collect ponies, too" Good luck in Annaville! (hmm, I wonder what ponies are there...)

Faerie ~ Yes... no pressure to give out your name. I love knowing people's names... it makes me feel like we are closer friends. ;D Kat ~ I thought you disappeared from talking on this post! Anyways... I like your idea, of having a meet at the movie opening! Sounds like fun. We could each bring our favorite G3 to tell us apart from the others!! ;D OOH! I got my Disney ponies in the mail on Thursday. They are SO awesome. ;D

Oooh, that would be sooo coool! *hops up and down* I was going to drag my fiance to the pony movie, but I'd much rather see it with people who might enjoy it LOL Thanks for the good wishes! Living in Annaville will be great since it's much closer to all the Corpus pony spots! I'm currently living with my folks out near Odem/Edroy, and the Calallen Walmart is about the only place I get to hunt for MLP on a regular basis! (And they *never* restock!)

Faerie ~ Where is Annaville? Near Corpus? Corpus is a far drive for me... about 4 hours... but if I could get my friend of something to go with me, I wouldn't mind making the special trip. I just can't wait for the movie to come out... it prolly won't be until the end of this year, if we are lucky. But I still can't wait! ;D

Hey Beckster! Nice to meet you; do you live in Corpus too? Sunriser - Annaville is actually a part of Corpus; it's a particular area, like Calallen or Flour Bluff or the South Side, heh. Weird how areas of the city have these particular names; I wonder if they were all little towns at one point and got absorbed into the city? Wow that really would be a long drive for you!! I never saw the free MLP video, but on the MLPTP they seemed to think it was pretty corny? I hope the movie will be better!

Faerie ~ They are saying that they think the movie will be more like the commercials, which I hope doesn't happen. I liked the cartoon. Sure, it was kinda corny... but I am not fond of the ponies in the commercials, they pretty much SCARE me. ;D

Hiya! Ha, I took a short break where I wasn't posting much. I didn't have anything to post! But I'm back...I'm so glad you guys are interested in the movie idea! *wiggles in seat* (sorry, I get excited ) Wow, I thought you were in Corpus already Faerie -- I didn't know you were moving CLOSER to Corpus! hmm, I think me and Bridgette are the only ones actually IN Corpus. I'm hoping for a cartoon movie, too. The commercials are cute, but the computer animated ponies move kinda weird, don't they?

Hey Beckster! Nice to meet you; do you live in Corpus too? I lived there for five years, but I just moved to Houston in October. I have some friends in Anaville--I need to come back for a visit. I miss the Executive Surf Club and stuff! It's not too far of a drive

Heh, I always just tell people I live in Corpus because no one seems to know where Odem is... plus I work, school, and shop in the city. And yes those CGI commercials are... odd! Hmm. Oh btw my email address is wyvern_gold AT yahoo DOT com, if anyone ever wants to mail me! Anyone got any G1s for trade?

Kat ~ Well, I am glad that you are back to continue talking on this post! I like the commercials... just the ponies look funny. I would be more happier if the movie turns out to be a cartoon... I think kids would enjoy it more also. Faerie ~ I collect G1s also... but I don't have any at the moment to trade. Thrift shops suck here & I am never able to find anything good at them. Of course, that doesn't stop me from looking... I have found two great Popples before! Have y'all been able to spot the Easters at y'alls Targets?? One of the ones in McAllen had TONS out... the one in Harlingen had fewer... but still quite a few. I have already purchased 2 sets, still need another whole set to go. I just need a bit more CASH! ;D Which one is y'alls favorite of the bunch? I have to go with Spring Treat... though I love the butterfly on Dosey.

Cool, I collect the G1's, too. The 80's ponies are where my heart truly lies At first I was thinking that I would just get a FEW of the new ones, just for old times sake. -- Yeah, that idea lasted about 2 minutes! The thrift shops here aren't that great either, I can't ever find anything. The only G1 I have that is worth trading would be a Baby Brother Paws....anybody need him?
